If you are a nature lover, you will be astounded by the number of blue herons, white herons, osprey, reseate spoonbills, white pelicans, bald eagles, and numerous other species of birds that migrate to the Everglades National Park in the winter months.

Not to mention the manatees, porpoises, alligators, and crocodiles that also inhabit this area.

There is definitely a lot to catch and a lot to see in the Backcountry since this area take a little more time to get to, a full day is recommended. You won’t regret it!
